Following the Father’s Day, CFA Society Hong Kong presents an exclusive screening of “Stand Up Story” (說笑之人), a story about a young to-be stand-up comedian being the primary caregiver of his own father, who is intellectually disabled. This is a tender and bittersweet comedy about the difficulties of life and how to find humor in surviving hardship.

We will choose 32 winners based on the most creative and heartfelt writing, and each winner will receive two complimentary private screening tickets.

In recognition of your ongoing support notwithstanding the impact of COVID-19, CFA Institute has continued to waive the five-year membership requirement of professional leave policy for the 2024-2025 membership year renewal process, and the Society continues with the same practice.

- This giveaway is exclusively for members who have renewed the CFA Society Hong Kong (the “Society”) FY25 membership (1 Jul 2024 – 30 Jun 2025) on or before 9 June 2024 (Sunday).
- To be eligible to participate, existing members must have renewed their FY25 Society membership before submitting the online participation form.
- Submission of the online participation form shall not be construed to be confirmation of this giveaway campaign.
- In total, 32 winners with the most creative answers will be shortlisted by the management of the Society. Any such decision of the final result is at the Society’s sole discretion.
- Each winner will receive notification email on or before 14 June 2024 with collection details of two “Stand Up Story” movie tickets.
- The complimentary movie tickets are only applicable to the designated screening at 11:00 AM on 22 June 2024 (Sat) at PREMIERE ELEMENTS. Tickets will only be given to members whose eligibility to participate in this campaign is valid.
- Please present the confirmation email to Society staff for redeeming the movie tickets on-site. Substitution is allowed and please notify the Society in writing on or before 19 June 2024 (Wed).
- Seating will be assigned to participants at random by Society staff when redeeming the movie tickets on-site. Other than disabled seating, any special request for seating arrangement will not be entertained.
- The ticket redemption counter will start at 10:30 AM till 11:00 AM, while screening (without trailers and commercials) will start at 11:00 AM prompt. Any latecomers will not be entertained.
- The movie tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
- If typhoon Signal 8 or above and/or Black Rainstorm warning signal is in force at or before 8:00 AM on the date of the screening, the event will be cancelled. Please stay tuned for the Society’s official announcement in the case of adverse weather.
- The Society is not responsible for the quality, services, payment disputes (if any) and legal liability of the related to this screening.
- By registering for this event, you confirm that you and your guest(s) give consent to appearing in any official event photographs and video footage.
