CFA Society Hong Kong is proud to present our inaugural Web 3.0 flagship in-person event, featuring distinguished industry gurus from the 4 key pillars of Web 3.0, including CeFi (Centralized Finance), DeFi (Decentralized Finance), NFT (Non-fungible tokens) and Gaming / AI. This event is a must-attend for the Society’s members looking to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving world of Web 3.0 and to network with like-minded professionals.
The Hong Kong government has stepped up its commitment to promoting the development and adoption of Web 3.0 technologies recently, aiming to boost the city’s position as a booming virtual asset hub. The government also identified blockchain as a key technology for driving innovation and growth in the city’s financial and technology sectors. It is instrumental to understand this fast-developing economy to stay competitive as a CFA charterholder.
This event is an important part of our efforts, bringing together distinguished industry practitioners to share their insights and ideas on the future of Web 3.0. Speakers will shed light on their respective expertise, followed by Q&A and panel discussion. Hashkey Group
Jessie leads the Institutional Sales team at Hashkey Group, Hong Kong’s second SFC-licensed virtual asset exchange. She used to work in OSL, the first SFC-licensed virtual asset exchange in Hong Kong, and has been investing in virtual assets since 2016. She also has over 15 years of traditional finance industry experience in Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Guotai Junan Securities, and Piper Jaffray.
Mr. Anthony Tsao
Director, Hong Kong
Broadridge Financial Solutions
Anthony joined Broadridge Financial Solutions, a company providing financial application solutions to financial institutions, in 2021 as Director and is currently based in Hong Kong. Passionate about new technologies including Web3, he joined Huobi Hong Kong virtual asset exchange and was involved in multiple digital assets projects.
Anthony has over 20 years of financial market technology experience. He has been with UBS and ABN AMRO building equities and other multiple asset classes order management and back office systems.
Mr. Carl He
Partner
Helius Capital
Carl is a partner at Helius Capital, a crypto fund that specializes in incubating NFT projects and token trading. He’s been an early Crypto investor since 2016 and has a strong track record in tech investment. He served as a Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management, one of the world’s largest multi-strategy hedge fund firms. Before that, he served as vice president at PAG, an Asia-focused private equity firm managing over $50 billion in assets.
Mr. Bruce Wan

The Sandbox
Bruce is the Director of Relationship Management (The Greater China) at The Sandbox, he manages the client relationship and business development of a wide range of brands in the Greater China Region with The Sandbox, covering industries including banking, public sectors, sports, real estate development, music, media and entertainment. He also works with partnered studios to ensure smooth integration from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 for his clients.
Prior to joining the metaverse market, Bruce was a seasoned global corporate banker, who has about a decade of banking experience, securing a portfolio of over HKD 30 Billion credit relationships with local, as well as international corporations ranging from Cheung Kong Holdings, Hysan Development and Kowloon Motor Bus to Samsung, LG and Temasek.
Event Policy
- Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of payment.
- An additional administrative charge of HK$50 will be charged for participant who registers on the event day.
- To cope with the growing trend of going cashless, cash and cheque payment is strictly not accepted. Please ensure the online payment is successfully completed, otherwise, the registration may not be processed.
- A place will be reserved for the registrant upon successful online registration with email notification of registration details.
- After completing the online registration and payment process, registrants will receive email notifications with registration details. A reminder will also be sent before the event. If you have not received the email notification and reminder from CFA Society Hong Kong (the “Society”), it is the delegate’s responsibility to contact the Society to confirm their place.
- Registrations should be paid in full before the commencement of the event. Immediate payment is required upon email confirmation. Should the registration fee remains outstanding, the Society reserves the right to disallow entrance to the event.
- Full amount will still be charged for no-show or enrolment made after Monday, 29th May 2023.
- An administration fee of HK$50 will be charged for any cancellation of confirmed enrollment made on or before Monday, 29th May 2023. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and be confirmed by email from the Society.
- Refund of the event fee (less an administration fee of HK$50 per person) will be given for cancellation received on/before Monday, 29th May 2023. For payment made by credit card, refund will be handled through the bank, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. The amount will be refunded to the paid credit card account.
- No refund will be given for cancellation received after Monday, 29th May 2023.
- Substitutions are allowed. Please notify us prior to the event. Non-member rate applies if the substitute is not a member of the Society.
- The Society reserves the right to change the venue, date or speakers of the event due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice
- For attendance-taking purposes, participants’ names and company names (if any) may be given to the speaker of this event.
- If you have any discomfort or flu symptoms, please DO NOT participate in the captioned activity.
- In case of any dispute, the Society reserves the right of final decision and no further correspondences will be entertained.
