We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Macau Institute of Financial Services (MIFS) and International Training & Testing Center (ITTC) of City University of Macau in co-hosting this seminar titled “Navigating Global Market Trends: Opportunities and Challenges” (全球市場趨勢導航 機遇與挑戰).

After Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, the global market presents both opportunities and risks. While international equities can offer growth potential, they also expose investors to geopolitical uncertainties. ETFs provide a diversified approach to navigating these complexities, allowing investors to spread risk across multiple asset classes and sectors. Bond ETFs add stability and income generation, while some ETPs can be use as hedging tools. Additionally, the approval of Digital Asset ETFs enables direct exposure to digital assets without the complications of ownership. By incorporating a mix of these ETFs, investors can build a resilient portfolio that captures growth opportunities while mitigating risks associated with market volatility and political changes.

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Tony Wong, Managing Director of CSOP Asset Management Limited (王卓峯先生, 南方東英資產管理董事總經理及亞太區銷售部主管), who will discuss the topic “Global Portfolio Construction through ETF Investment” (透過ETF投資建構全球投資組合) with our audience.

2025 is a pivotal year for the Chinese market, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the economy. China is set to strategically implement fiscal stimulus measures to enhance consumer confidence and drive economic growth, especially in light of the new trade environment under President-elect Donald Trump. By strengthening monetary policy, China aims to offset the impacts of rising tariffs while simultaneously investing in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, robotics  and clean energy. These industries not only highlight China’s technological capabilities but also align with global sustainability objectives. As the government prioritizes high-quality development and innovation, these initiatives are expected to establish a resilient economic framework that fosters both domestic and international investment opportunities.

Furthermore, Ms. Victoria Mio, CFA, Head of Greater China Equities and Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson (繆子美女士, 駿利亨德森投資大中華區股票主管及亞洲(日本除外)股票團隊投資組合經理), will share her insights on “China 2025 – Opportunities and Challenges” (2025中國 – 機遇與挑戰).
