Overview
As part of the CFA Institute Research Challenge’s initiatives, the Student Mentorship Program (the “Program”) launched by CFA Society Hong Kong (the “Society”) aims to create an engaging and supportive community by bringing together future investment talents and experienced investment professionals to achieve the following objectives:
– To provide career and life advice and guidance to mentees;
– To facilitate the personal and professional growth of mentees.
How are Mentors and Mentees matched?
The Society staff will be responsible for the mentor-mentee matching.
How often do Mentors and Mentees meet?
Mentors and mentees are expected to have quarterly meetings (virtual or face-to-face), depending on their schedules. We encourage mentees to initiate meetings with mentors. The communication can be supplemented whenever appropriate, such as social media, emails and phone calls.
Networking drinks will be hosted to foster connections among mentors, mentees and members of CFA Society Hong Kong.
Who can be mentees?
All student participants of the CFA Institute Research Challenges – Hong Kong Local Final (2023-24) are eligible to join the Program.
Who are the mentors?
Mentors are investment professionals and volunteers of CFA Society Hong Kong.
