Transitions in employment always come with unique challenges and considerations. This seminar is tailored specifically for financial experts who are contemplating a career switch, addressing crucial employment-related matters that are paramount in their career trajectories.

We are honored to have Mr. Ricky Lioe, Partner of King & Wood Mallesons, and Mr. Charles Lai, Senior Associate of King & Wood Mallesons, to offer a detailed exploration of the evolving employment landscape. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into the potential legal exposures when leaving a current employment contract, such as the ongoing duties and obligations to the previous employers, and liabilities under common binding contracts like Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Non-Compete Covenants.

For finance practitioners considering transitioning out of the finance industry, our speakers will also shed light on popular incentive schemes that many start-ups and FinTech companies offer to new employees, helping you make informed decisions throughout your professional journey.

(Sandwiches and drinks will be served at the event.)

Target audience: all members and non-members
Language: English
Registration Fee: HK$100 (Members) / HK$300 (Non-members)
