As we usher in 2025, we are delighted to host a memorable evening at the New Year Cocktail Reception, co-organized by CFA Society Hong Kong and CFA Institute. This event promises to be more than just a celebration; it is an opportunity to foster connections and engage in meaningful dialogue as we shape the year ahead.

Kicking off the program, Alvin Ho, CFA, President of CFA Society Hong Kong, will deliver opening remarks, followed by valuable insights from Paul Moody, Managing Director of Global Partnerships & Client Solutions at CFA Institute. We are honored to welcome Joseph H. L. Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, who will deliver the keynote speech, sharing his insights into the latest developments in private markets, private wealth management, and green and sustainable finance.

Paul will provide an update on the latest developments in the world of ESG, offering valuable perspectives that are increasingly relevant in today’s financial landscape.

Throughout the evening, delicious food and refreshments will be served, ensuring a delightful experience as we ring in the New Year together.

This event marks the beginning of 2025, setting the stage for a year filled with promise and opportunity!

Dress Code: Business smart attire is required. Please note that jeans, T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts, sports shoes, and flip flops are not acceptable. Denim is not permitted at any time in the club. Please refer to The Hong Kong Club’s website for details.
