Alternative investments (‘alts’), including private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, and other non-traditional investments, have seen a significant increase in their share within the asset allocation of institutional investors over the past decade. Despite the return enhancement and diversification benefits offered by alts, their appeal to individual investors is limited by illiquidity, leverage risk, and lack of valuation transparency. These risks have also led to increased scrutiny from regulators.

In this luncheon, Endowus, the leading digital wealth platform in Asia that provides access to alternative investments for both individual and institutional investors, will share their insights on the importance of alts for asset allocation, the associated risk, and recent industry developments.

Sandwiches and drinks will be served at the event.
