If you are preparing for the Feb 2025 CFA exam and have a desire for realistic exam practice in a simulated testing environment, our new initiative “Ready for Battle – Mock Exam” on 18 January 2025 (Sat) presents the perfect opportunity for you!

In collaboration with UWorld, this event offers a unique opportunity for CFA candidates to engage a UWorld CFA mock exam with your fellow candidates. UWorld mock exams closely replicate the actual test in all aspects – format, question weighting, difficulty, and interface, thereby providing an accurate simulation.

In addition, our experienced Candidate Services Committee Member and Study Group Leaders, who are also CFA Charterholders, will dissect and analyse the mock questions with you to fortify your comprehension of the materials. Throughout the event, speakers will share intensive exam strategies and tips to help you pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses. This invaluable opportunity enables you to evaluate your exam readiness and gain priceless insights from industry professionals.

* Please note: This mock exam is for candidates who (i) have joined the Society’s Feb 2025 Level I study groups, or (ii) are currently Feb 2025 Level I CFA candidates.

About the Speaker:

Mr. Zap Cheng, CFA

Candidate Services Committee Vice-chair

Zap is the Vice-Chair of Candidate Services Committee in CFA Society Hong Kong with solid experience as study group leader to help Hong Kong and Macau candidates to pass the CFA professional exams in Level I, II & III.  Besides the CFA Charterholder qualification, he is also a qualified accountant with a master’s degree on Corporate Finance.

With around 20 years professional experience in the industry, Zap is currently working in a global top-tier FinTech company. His duties mainly focus on design, implementation and enhancement of miscellaneous compliance, financial reporting, valuation, liability modelling system in insurance & banking sector within APAC & EMEA region.

Remarks

• Your event registration will be considered invalid if you are not a February 2025 Level I CFA exam candidate.

• The email confirmation will be sent to registrants upon successful online registration.

• Limited seats are available for the mock exam. The registration is on first-come-first-served basis.

• Event reminders will be sent out 1 day before the event. If you did not receive the email confirmation and reminder, it is the delegate’s responsibility to contact CFA Society Hong Kong (the “Society”) to confirm their reservations.

• Please arrive at the venue 5-10 minutes in advance of the session start time. The event will start promptly at the designated time.

• Should there be any changes to the event dates and other arrangements, we will notify participants via email or phone. Notices will also be posted on the Society’s website. Please stay tuned for further announcements.

• The Society reserves the right to change the format, date, or speakers of the event due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
