Composed Performance: The Hidden Variable Separating Good from Great

(CODE: 260416N-MSX)

In today’s demanding world of finance, technical skill and market knowledge are essential — but they are no longer enough. The true differentiator between good professionals and great ones is something far less visible yet far more powerful: composure.

In this evidence-based keynote, Kal Ghayur — a 35-year veteran of global finance — reveals the science behind what he calls Composed Performance™: the ability to access clarity, composure, and executive control precisely when the stakes are highest.

Drawing on neuroscience, physiology, performance research, and elite sports psychology, Kal explains how the nervous system directly shapes decision-making, communication, leadership presence, and cognitive endurance. Participants will learn why peak performance is not just a function of talent or experience but a function of state — and how small, science-backed “micro-activations” to reset the nervous system can dramatically improve performance in real-time.

This keynote will explore:

  • Why composure is the hidden variable driving better performance
  • The neuroscience of clarity, focus, and composure to reduce internal volatility
  • The role of breath, voice, posture, focus, and mindset in nervous system regulation
  • Practical techniques used by elite performers to stay composed in critical moments
  • How to apply these methods in investing, leadership, communication, and daily work

Attendees will leave with actionable techniques, not abstract ideas — including simple, rapid practices they can use before presentations, high-stakes decisions, market volatility spikes, difficult conversations, or long cognitive days.

Learn to elevate your performance by mastering the one variable you can always control: your internal state.

Join us for a compelling and practical session that will change the way you think about performance — and give you tools to consistently operate at your best.
