Come aboard with CFA Society Hong Kong for an exciting Boat Trip on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Experience the stunning views of Victoria Harbour while enjoying the beautiful city skyline. Network with other finance professionals, dive into some fun water activities. This is a unique chance to make unforgettable memories—don’t let it pass you by!
For a taste of adventure, our boat trip offers a little something for everyone. You can try out the speedboat, or banana boat, or have fun on the inflatable dock and slide. Plus, you can relax with a refreshing swim or soak up the sun on the deck.
Please pack your own food for the boat trip and feel free to share with fellow participants to make the experience even more enjoyable! Let’s make our boat trip environmentally conscious by bringing your own cups and sustainable cutlery to help reduce waste and keep our environment clean.

Remarks:
– Participants should take out adequate insurance for your own financial and personal security.
– Participants who register after 2 May 2025 (Thursday) will not be covered under the protection plan of the group tour travel insurance arranged by CFA Society Hong Kong.
-Please ensure you arrive at the pier on time for the boat trip, as the boat will depart as scheduled and will not wait for those who are late.
– Shower facilities will be provided on board.
-The policies, terms, and conditions outlined below are specifically formulated for this boat trip. They are designed to address the unique aspects and requirements of this particular event. Therefore, these terms should not be applied to other Society events.
Important Note: Arrangements under inclement weather
If Tropical Typhoon Signal No. 3 or higher or the Black Rainstorm Warning is still hoisted at 8:00 am or before setting out on the day of sailing, the boat trip will be postponed. CFA Society Hong Kong will try our best to reschedule the activity and no refund will be arranged. If Tropical Typhoon Signal No. 3 is hoisted while sailing, the captain of the boat has the right to return to the pier early in accordance with the marine ordinances and for reasons of safety. No compensation will be made for the remaining time unused.
Registration:
1. Please note that all participants are joining this boat trip activity entirely at own risk. Participants will not abide to hold CFA Society Hong Kong responsible for any accidents of whatever kind, resulting in death or injury, or for any damages to or losses or destruction of personal properties arising during the activity.
2. Interested parties are requested to register online.
3. Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of payment.
4. After completing the online registration, registrants will receive email notifications with registration details. A reminder will also be sent before the activity begins. If you have not received the email notification and reminder from CFA Society Hong Kong, it is the delegate’s responsibility to contact CFA Society Hong Kong to confirm their place.
Policy for Substitutions, Cancellations and No Show:
1. Registrations should be paid in full before the commencement of the activity, CFA Society Hong Kong reserves the right to disallow entrance to the activity.
2. Full amount will still be charged for no show or enrolment made after 6 May 2025 (Tuesday).
3. For any cancellation of confirmed enrollment on or before 6 May 2025 (Tuesday), 50% of the activity fee will be forfeited. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and be confirmed by email from CFA Society Hong Kong.
4. Refund of the activity fee (after forfeiting 50% of the activity fee) will be given for cancellation received on/before 6 May 2025 (Tuesday).
– For payment made by credit card, refund will be handled through the bank, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. The amount will be refunded to the paid credit card account.
5. No refund will be given for cancellation received after 6 May 2025 (Tuesday).
6. Substitutions are allowed. Please notify us prior to the activity. Non-member rate applies if the substitute is not CFA Society Hong Kong member. If an early bird registrant’s substitute registers after the early bird date, the early bird rate will still apply.
7. For safety reasons, only those aged 7 and above can participate in the event.
8. All participants, including children, are subject to the same rate.
9. The Society reserves the right to cancel the activity due to any unforeseen circumstances or the minimum number of enrolment is not achieved. Full amount will then be refunded to registrant.
10. To facilitate communication, a WhatsApp group will be created for all participants. Those who successfully register will be provided with an invitation link to join the group.
11. All participants must agree with the “Liability Declaration” when they register online. Please note that if you choose to participate in this activity, you do so at your own risk. In consideration of being allowed to participate in this activity, you agree that in no activity shall CFA Society Hong Kong, its staff and committee members, and/or any other person assisting CFA Society Hong Kong (collectively, the “Releasees”) with this activity have any responsibility whatsoever for any and all injuries (including death) suffered by you during this activity and/or for any and all resulting loss and/or damages of whatsoever nature and you agree to release each such person (or entity) from any liability whatsoever for any and such loss, damages, and injuries (including death) howsoever arising from your participation in this activity. Also, if you suffer from any illness, medical condition, or disability, please consult your physician before participating in the subject activity. This disclaimer of liability applies to any and all loss, damages, and/or injury, including but not limited to those caused by any act of negligence on the part of any of the Releasees or on the part of any agent or deemed agent of any of the Releasees.

Such data collected may be accessible by CFA Society Hong Kong’s officers, persons or committees processing the application and related matters.
