CFA Society Hong Kong is pleased to partner with Robert Walters, a global talent solutions specialist with a presence in 31 countries, to present a market overview and key insights from the 2025 Robert Walters Salary Survey, focusing on recruitment and salary trends within Hong Kong’s financial services sector.

The Robert Walters Salary Survey is an annual, in-depth guide that provides salary benchmarks for thousands of roles in 31 global markets. It serves as a valuable resource for both hiring managers and job seekers, offering the latest industry trends, expert analysis, and video insights into evolving market conditions.

This event will feature a detailed presentation of the survey findings, including current salary benchmarks, expected salary increases for job movers, and the most in-demand skills across various areas of the financial sector. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals during the post-event networking session, complemented by drinks and light refreshments, courtesy of the Society.

About the Speaker

Chris Corcoran

Robert Walters

Chris Corcoran specializes in recruiting for private equity and hedge funds firms in Hong Kong and has executed on numerous mandates across front and back-office functions – specifically investment team roles and finance professionals within the Alternative Investment Management business.
 
Prior to joining Robert Walters, Chris worked in a Business Development capacity for IES in Europe, a not-for-profit group that specialized in sourcing international internship opportunities for university students.
 
Chris is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Tax Advisor (CTA) having qualified with PwC, working in their tax division initially before moving into their Management Consulting business. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business & Legal from University College Dublin (UCD) and a Masters in Accounting from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Remarks

  • Registration is required. Walk-ins will not be accommodated.
  • Only registered participants are permitted to attend and remain at the event.
  • Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email. Please ensure the online payment is completed; otherwise, the registration will not be processed.
  • The registration fee must be paid in full before the commencement of the event. If any registration fee remains outstanding, the Society reserves the right to deny entry to the event.
  • An administration fee of HK$50 will be charged for any cancellation requests made on or before 6 May 2025 (Tuesday). All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by the Society via email.
  • A refund of the event fee (less an administration fee of HK$50 per person) will be issued for cancellation requests made on or before 6 May 2025 (Tuesday). For payments made by credit card, refunds will be processed by the respective banks or card issuers. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. The amount will be refunded to the credit card used for payment.
  • No refund will be given for cancellations made after 6 May 2025 (Tuesday) or for no-shows.
  • To cope with the growing trend of going cashless, cash and cheque payment will not be accepted.
  • Substitutions are allowed. Please notify us on or before 6 May 2025 (Tuesday) if you would like to arrange a substitution. If the substitute is not a CFA Society Hong Kong member, the non-member rate will apply.
  • The event organizers reserve the right to change the format or date of the event due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
  • The event will be conducted in English.
  • Please take care of your personal belongings. The Society is not responsible for the loss of any personal property.
  • For attendance-taking purposes, participants’ names and company names (if applicable) may be shared with the event speakers.
