The development of GBA (Greater Bay Area) is accorded the status of key strategic planning in the country’s development blueprint, having great significance in the country’s implementation of innovation-driven development and commitment to reform and opening-up.
The objectives of the GBA initiative are to further deepen cooperation, fully leverage the composite advantages, facilitate in-depth integration within the 9+2 cities, and promote coordinated regional economic development, with a view to developing an international first-class bay area ideal for living, working, and traveling. It is essential for us to know the focus, competitive advantages, and preferential policies in these 9+2 cities before we make investment decisions in GBA. In this seminar, the speakers from EY will walk us through the following topics:
- An overview of the Greater Bay Area and how it fits into the economy development plan of the country
- The economy and development focus of the 9 mainland cities
- The preferential policies in GBA
- Examples on how business can harness these preferential policies in their business models
