CFA Society Hong Kong is pleased to invite members to an exclusive networking evening at The Macallan House, proudly sponsored by Direxion.
The evening will commence with welcome remarks from CFA Society Hong Kong, followed by insights from senior management at Direxion, who will share their perspectives on the evolving landscape of leveraged and inverse ETFs. This will be complemented by The Macallan Sensorial Journey, a multi-sensory exploration of the brand’s heritage, culminating in a curated whisky tasting experience within an immersive setting.

About the Speakers
Mr. Edward Egilinsky
Managing Director, Head of Sales and Distribution, Head of Alternative Investments
Direxion
As Head of Sales and Distribution Ed focuses on global product implementation within the institutional and tactical client segments as well as promoting ETF education and strategy throughout the financial industry. Ed is also responsible for managing the Direxion ETF sales team. As Head of Alternative Investments, Ed’s focus is to drive the firm's product development initiatives, internal and external product messaging, training and support of product delivery.
Prior to joining Direxion, he served as Managing Director of Business Development at Price Asset Management where his focus was on expanding the company's distribution network and diversifying its product line. Ed was also Managing Director and head of Alternative Strategies at Rydex Investments where he provided leadership to the sales team for alternative strategy initiatives, expanded distribution channels, and effectively branded Rydex, as well, as a recognized provider of alternative investment. Earlier in his career, Ed was Head of US Sales and Marketing for Kenmar Advisory Corporation where he drove domestic asset growth among high net worth and institutional clients.
Ed graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the State University of New York in Albany. He also holds Series 3, 7, 24, and 63 Licenses.
Mr. Tony Ng
Managing Director, Co-Head of Portfolio Management and Head of Portfolio Strategy
Direxion
Tony oversees a team of Portfolio Managers responsible for the Direxion ETF lineup. His expertise includes the creation and execution to bring a leverage/inverse ETF to market and the daily operations of managing leverage/inverse ETFs.
Prior to joining Rafferty, he held supervisory roles in the Middle Office groups at Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Asset Management.
Tony received his Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the State University of Buffalo. He currently holds Series 3, Series 7, Series 63, Paper 1 and Paper 2 securities licenses.

Remarks
- Registration is mandatory; no walk-ins will be entertained. Only registered participants are allowed to stay and attend the event.
- For paid events, registration is only confirmed upon receipt of payment. If the registration fee remains outstanding, CFA Society Hong Kong reserves the right to disallow entrance to the event.
- Cash and cheque payments are strictly not accepted. Participants should ensure that online payment is successfully completed; otherwise, registration may not be processed.
- An administration fee of HK$50 will be charged for any cancellation of confirmed enrollment made on or before 21 June 26. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and confirmed by email from CFA Society Hong Kong. A refund of the event fee, less the administration fee of HK$50 per person, will be issued for eligible cancellations. The full event fee will be charged for no-shows or cancellation requests after 21 June 26.
- For payments made by credit card, eligible refunds will be processed through the bank, and participants should allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. The amount will be refunded to the paid credit card account.
- Substitutions are allowed, but participants must notify CFA Society Hong Kong prior to the event. Any fee difference resulting from ticket type or the early bird period must be settled to confirm the substitute's registration and seat.
- The event organizers reserve the right to change the format or date of the event due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
- Should there be any changes to the event dates or other arrangements, participants will be notified via SMS and/or email. Notices will also be posted on the CFA Society Hong Kong’s website, so participants should stay alert for notifications.
- For attendance-taking purposes, participants’ names and company names (if applicable) may be provided to the speaker of this event.
- If participants experience any discomfort or flu symptoms, they should not participate in the event.
- Participants should take good care of their belongings. CFA Society Hong Kong is not responsible for any personal loss.
- To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, participants are expected to treat fellow attendees with respect. Abusive or threatening behavior will not be tolerated, and individuals who behave inappropriately may be asked to leave the event.
- In the event of a dispute, the decision of CFA Society Hong Kong shall be final and binding.
