Our Member Services Committee is co-organising a trail clean-up activity with Trailsweeper (an organization that aims to protect different trails) to serve the benefits of enjoying the pleasure of hiking and clearing the debris of our trails.

| Materials and fees: | Everyone please bring your own gloves. The captioned event is free of charge. Souvenirs and trail cleaning tools are provided free of charge by Trailsweeper team . Each participant is responsible for food and transportation expenses. |
Remarks：
1) This activity is a free and voluntary outdoor activity, and each participant shall bear all risks and responsibilities during the period.
CFA Society Hong Kong will provide basic outing insurance* for eligible participants who register on or before Monday, January 13, 2025. Insurance will not be provided for those who register after this date. Please ensure you have adequate insurance for your own financial and personal security.
2) Please wear appropriate hiking attire and bring a backpack. Ensure you have enough food and water. (Participants are advised to bring at least 1.5 liters of water. Team leaders will check before the event starts, and anyone without sufficient drinking water will not be allowed to join the activity together with the team.)
3) If the observatory continues to issue any rainstorm warning, storm signal No. 3 or above, or thunderstorm warning covering the activity area at 6:30 AM on the day of the event, the activity will be cancelled or rescheduled.
Event Policy:
- The Society reserves the right to cancel the activity due to any unforeseen circumstances or the minimum number of enrolment is not achieved.
- Participants will not abide to hold CFA Society Hong Kong responsible for any accidents of whatever kind, resulting in death or injury, or for any damages to or losses or destruction of personal properties arising during the activity.
- Please be punctual.
- All participants must agree with the “Liability Declaration” when they register online.
- If you have any discomfort or flu symptoms, please DO NOT participate in the captioned activity.
By registering for this event, you confirm that you and your guest(s) consent to appearing in any official event photographs and video footage.
- The photographs and video footage can be used by the Society for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media, or in a third-party publication.
- In addition, photographs or video footage may be taken by other event attendees and publicly shared, for which the Society cannot be held responsible.
