CUHK MSc in Finance Programme Scholarship Scheme

CFA Society Hong Kong (the “Society”) and The Chinse University of Hong Kong (“CUHK”) established a scholarship scheme to recognize and support outstanding professionals with a CFA designation or CFA exam candidates who wish to enroll in the MSc in Finance Programme (Part-time) at CUHK.
 
 
[NEW] CUHK MSc in Finance (Part-time) Online Information Session
 
Members who are interested in knowing more about the MSc in Finance Programme at CUHK are invited to join the online information session to learn more about their part-time study mode.
 
During the session, Dr. Edwin Mok, CFA, Associate Programme Director, MSc in Finance, will share how the MSc in Finance programme can enhance your career impact, and how you can leverage CUHK Business School’s strong professional and alumni network to advance your goals in the financial industry.

Track A: Nomination by CFA Society Hong Kong (HK$100,000)
 
CFA Society Hong Kong will nominate up to three (3) eligible applicants who is currently a member of the Society. The nomination process involves filling out an application form with the Society, followed by a screening process conducted by the Board of Directors of the Society.
 
If the nominated candidates pass the MSc in Finance Programme's interview and are subsequently offered enrollment into the part-time mode, they will each be awarded a scholarship valued at HK$100,000 under this scheme.
 
 
Application Deadline of Track A: 28 February 2026 (Saturday)
 
 
Track B: Non-Nominated Applicants (HK$50,000)
 
Students who have completed at least the CFA Level I exam but are not nominated by the Society can apply for scholarship under this Track.
 
Up to three (3) scholarships, each valued at HK$50,000, will be awarded.
 
The MSc in Finance Programme Admission Committee will evaluated and select candidates for these scholarships based on the following criteria:
  • Academic excellence
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Performance in the admission process

  • Allowance Conditions: The tuition allowances are subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the Society and CUHK. In case of any disputes, the CUHK MBA Marketing & Admissions Team reserves the right of final decision.
  • Non-Transferability: Tuition allowances awarded under this scheme are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or other monetary items, and must be used exclusively for the CUHK MBA Programs.
  • Withdrawal of Scholarship: The Society and CUHK reserve the right to withdraw the tuition allowances at any time if the recipient fails to meet the required academic and professional standards or violates any terms and conditions of this scheme.
  • Changes to Terms and Dates: The Society and CUHK reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions, as well as the dates of this scheme, without prior notice.
