About the Speaker

Emma Pecenicic
Head of Digital Propositions and Partnerships,
Asia Pacific ex-Japan, Fidelity International
Founding Member,

Emma joined Fidelity International in 2021, as Head of Digital Propositions and Partnerships, Asia Pacific ex Japan. Based in Hong Kong, Emma leads the build out of Fidelity’s digital product solutions and digital wealth strategy, enabling an improved client experience in Asia. Since 2023, she leads the distribution efforts for digital assets globally, supporting the commercialisation of Fidelity International’s Bitcoin spot strategy as well as fund tokenization.

Passionate about new technologies, Emma joined the digital transformation team in 2017 at BNP Paribas Asset Management Hong Kong, where she led the digital transformation of BNPP AM globally and in APAC. She designed the global digital strategy and led the implementation of the Augmented Investments Programme, aiming to increase the usage of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and other technologies in the asset manager’s operating model and investment processes. Emma has also led multiple projects on digital assets and tokenisation since 2018. Prior to pursuing a career in technology and fintech, Emma started her career at BNP Paribas Asset Management in Paris as an Investment Specialist in the European Equities Team. She then moved to Hong Kong in 2012, specialising in China RMB capabilities and Indonesian equities for international investors.

Emma has been keenly involved in the FinTech Association of Hong-Kong since 2017 and she has been co-chair of the Blockchain committee since 2020. More recently, Emma has joined the W3W community has a founding member, supporting women in Web3, the non-profit organisation aims to build, educate and invest in the future of women who are in the crypto/web3 industry. Emma holds an MSc in Financial Management and a Diplome des Grandes Ecoles with a major in Financial Analysis from EDHEC Business School in France.

Vivien Khoo
Private Wealth Management Association (“PWMA”)

Vivien is the CEO of Private Wealth Management Association (“PWMA”), Prior to joining the PWMA, she was the Chairwoman and co-founder of the Asia Crypto Alliance, an industry association promoting a sustainable ecosystem for virtual asset providers in Asia. After a long career in senior compliance and regulatory roles, Vivien moved into the digital asset industry in 2019 where she was the Global Chief Operating Officer and Interim CEO at a leading crypto derivatives exchange. She also held senior roles at various major digital wealth management and crypto firms, including StashAway and Delphi Digital, following a career of nearly two decades at Goldman Sachs, where she was the Managing Director of Goldman Sachs’ Asia Pacific Ex-Japan Compliance division. Vivien was a regulator at the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission earlier on in her career.

Vivien serves on the Regulatory Subcommittee of the Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development established by the Government of HKSAR in 2023, chaired by the Financial Secretary with participation of key government officials and financial regulators.

As a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Vivien was a key sponsor for female programs at different levels during her time at Goldman Sachs. She is the founder of W3W (Web3Women) and co-founder of SatoshiWomen, both of which provide education, inspiration and connections to women interested in digital assets. She serves on the board of Inspiring Girls.


  • Registration is requested, no walk-in will be entertained.
  • Only registered participants are allowed to stay and attend the event.
  • Registrations should be paid in full before the commencement of the activity. The Society reserves the right to disallow entrance to the activity for any unpaid registrations or registrations in doubt.
  • Full amount of registration fee will still be charged for no show or enrolment made after 20 May 2024 (Monday).
  • For any cancellation of confirmed enrolment on or before 20 May 2024 (Monday), an administration fee of HK$50 will be charged. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and be confirmed by email from the Society.
  • Refund of the registration fee (after deducting HK$50 administration fee) will be given for cancellation received on/before 20 May 2024 (Monday).
  • For payment made by credit card, refund will be handled through the card-issuing bank. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. The amount will be refunded to the credit card used for payment.
  • No refund will be given for cancellation received after 20 May 2024(Monday).
  • Substitutions are allowed and please notify us no later than 20 May 2024 (Monday) if such arrangement is required. Non-member rate applies if the substitute is not a CFA Society Hong Kong member.
  • The event organizers reserve the right to change the format, date of the event due to unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
  • The event will be conducted in English.
  • If you feel unwell or have any flu symptoms on the event day, please refrain from attending.
  • For attendance-taking purpose, participants’ names and company names (if any) may be given to the co-organiser(s) and/or speaker(s) of this event.
